Vintage Distressed Western Hat with Nez Perce Tooled Leather Cowboy Hat
Each hat I make is bathed and re-shaped, setting out to age delightfully under the golden California sun. This is a tedious process, taking up to a year in its natural elements to give it the perfect age & patina.
My hat bands are all handmade from re-claimed vintage belts and accessories Ive picked and loved along the way.
I treated the wool with a local wildflower that blooms only in a small region of Northern California. It secrets a natural sage & citrus smelling resin which gives a beautiful texture and has natural waterproofing qualities as well.
hat band is made from Vintage Nez Perce leather belt, deerskin tie with silver concho button .
