1915 Tattoo Flash Art Society Circus Hand Illustrated Historical Henley Shirt
"The Society Circus was a fundraiser in Kennebunk Maine which was used to raise funds for playground improvements at Parsons Field in 1915. Many of the performers, clowns and musicians were local dignitaries, businessmen and their wives who devoted hours of time to the event."
This was most likely made by a local that was involved in the performances.
Some natural signs of wear as shown. The cotton is still very soft, not dry or brittle at all.
Absolutely incredible piece of historical clothing.
